Parks Canada continues to welcome Canadians to visit Banff National Park and reminds all visitors to arrive prepared. Parks Canada reminds all visitors to arrive prepared when visiting Canada’s national parks. Every visit should start with a trip to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and your visit to Banff National Park. Here you can find up to date information on what is open, what is closed and how to visit the park safely. We need your help to keep Canada’s parks safe and clean. When visiting national parks, only visit areas that are open, always adhere to the guidance of public health authorities, and be respectful of other visitors.

Thank you for your patience.
