The Canadian Rockies Hot Springs are operated by Parks Canada. Located in Jasper, Kootenay and Banff national parks, the iconic Miette, Radium and Banff Upper Hot Springs facilities offer a relaxing, easy to access pool experience for visitors of all ages.


Miette, Radium and Banff Upper Hot Springs operate on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are neither required, nor available.

Radium Hot Springs is open daily. Wearing a mask is required in public indoor spaces for those 5 and older.


Proof of vaccination is required to enter Radium Hot Springs. Per BC’s public health orders, neither proof of a negative COVID-19 tests nor proof of a medical exemption will be accepted.


Please be patient and kind to staff and other patrons as we make changes to our operation.


Banff Upper Hot Springs is open daily. Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program is in effect. Identification and one of the following documents is required to enter:


  • proof of vaccination,

  • proof of a medical exemption, or

  • a privately paid negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test completed within 72 hours is required for entry. 

Wearing a mask is required in indoor public spaces, including when entering and exiting the facility. Please read our hours of operation and trip planning information before you visit. 



Miette Hot Springs will remain closed for the 2021 operational season due to a national shortage of qualified lifeguards.
